ADCC Germany has really stepped on the gas in the past two years and made the label ADCC in Germany a synonym for perfectly organized grappling competitions. Especially the constantly high quality participation of top grapplers from all over the world speak for how gladly athletes partly fly halfway around the world to our competitions in Germany.

Now today in a phone call with ADCC Europe President Marko Leisten (Finland) it was announced that the ADCC German Open Championships 2024 will be held exclusively on UFC Fightpass will be broadcast live to over 280 million households worldwide. A gigantic leap for ADCC Germany in the international awareness and of course a gigantic chance for the grapplers in this country with a strong performance to really draw international attention.

UFC Fightpass only for the Professionals fights

All fights of the Professional Divisions of the upcoming ADCC German Open Championships will be broadcast live and exclusively on UFC Fightpass. The fights of the Beginner and Intermediate Divisions will be streamed as usual via a free livestream on SportsGermany.TV broadcast live. Since last year, all fights of the ADCC tournaments in Germany are broadcast via the media platform of the German Olympic Sports Confederation and thus always reach a thousandfold audience around the world live. With the transmission of fights from Germany at the UFC Fightpass one goes again a gigantic step for the fighters from Germany in the direction of international reach.

When and where will the ADCC German Open Championships be held?

So far, only a time window for the month of October 2024 has been set. At this point, ADCC Germany would like to name the city of Ulm as one of the possible venues. Above all, the excellent highway connections with the A7 and A8 speak for this venue. Appropriate arenas and sufficient hotels also speak for the city on the Danube for the possible venue of this media spectacle. Exact dates and a location will be announced in the coming weeks.

Preparation of athletes from Germany with the Super Series

The ADCC Super Series has established itself as a regular event in Germany and has brought athletes from all over the world to the Federal Republic. In addition to Herrenberg (near Stuttgart), Super Series events are now planned in Wolfsburg, Leipzig and Erding (Munich). Through these events, fighters and teams from all over Germany will have the opportunity to recommend and prepare themselves for the major international competitions of ADCC. Thus, the next event of the Super Series will take place in Wolfsburg in the north in just a few weeks. Interested teams and fighters should register for the event and gain valuable experience under the rules and regulations of ADCC to be able to compete in major competitions.
