Yesterday's 5th South German Shooto Championships at the headquarters of the German Top Teamin Reutlingen were a complete success. As many as 30 athletes from 17 teams from Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg and all over Germany faced the competition and fought for the medals and the longed-for qualification for the German Championships 2020.
At the same time, the South German Shooto Championships were also the strongest regional tournament of Shooto so far and show a clear upward trend for amateur Shooto since the introduction of Ground and Pound also in the amateur fights.
