Opening German Top Team NRW

Last Sunday, Florian Lenz opened his new German Top Team NRW Academy in Neukirchen-Vluyn and numerous athletes from all over Germany and the Netherlands accepted his invitation to a six-hour seminar and Open Mat marathon.

To say it in advance: the new academy directly under the "Clever Fit" with best traffic connection is a real feast for the eyes and leaves hardly any wishes unfulfilled. Over 130 square meters of mat area with extremely high quality OKAMI Mats gave enough space for more than 30 athletes and were inaugurated during the sweaty Open Mats befitting their status. Pleasing was also the presence of other top fighters from the partner schools of the GTT, such as Shidokan European and World Champion Grigori Winizki (Samurai Fight Team Leipzig) and Respect FC Championess Tanja Angerer (Total Combat Thannberg), whereby both accepted a journey of several hundred kilometers to be present at the big event. And also Luta Livre Blackbelt Stefan Larisch from the Fighters Playground did the honors with some of his students, followed by several competition-tested Dutch guests from various teams in the Netherlands.

So there were quite a few celebrities on the mat, while they first enjoyed an hour of free rolling on the Open Mat, followed by a one-hour mini-seminar by head coach Peter Angerer. Numerous parents and onlookers also found their way to the academy and convinced themselves of the quality of the future training offered by our black belt Florian Lenz.

We wish Florian and his wife Nadine much success with the new academy and are sure that the German Top Team NRW will become one of the top addresses in terms of BJJ, Luta Livre and Shooto in North Rhine-Westphalia in no time.
