MMA Erding replaces German Top Team
The third edition of the ADCC Super Series last Saturday at the German Top Team Performance Center was a complete success. Almost 140 grapplers from all over Europe and even Canada had traveled to the wild south to compete with top-class opponents under the popular set of rules of ADCC at this event. And there was also a tangible sensation: MMA Erding under the direction of Manuel Unverricht was able to beat the German Top Team in the team classification for the first time since 2019. MMA Spirit from Frankfurt could be celebrated with the 3rd place on the podium in the team ranking.
Erdinger took the trophy for "Best Team" by a clear margin, distinguishing themselves as the strongest team in this ADCC competition. Congratulations to the Bavarians, who showed an incredibly solid and fighting performance as a team.
Strong international field of participants convinces
Top athletes came from numerous countries to compete again with the best grapplers. In the No-Gi area ADCC Germany has certainly become one of the outstanding organizers in our country and besides a free livestream on Sportdeutschland.TV, custom made medals, championship rings and championship belts, especially the prize money in the Professional Adults Divisions has attracted the fighters to Herrenberg.
The participation of top teams, such as Stallion Gym, MMA Spirit, Masao Grappling, Six Blades and Impacto Team, in addition to MMA greats, such as We Love MMA Champion Adrian Zeitner, have incredibly enhanced the event. All around, the competition was a great start to the fall/winter season of ADCC and grappling in Germany.
